Due to the forecast of excessive heat and dangerous heat indices, recycling, yard waste, and trash collections will begin one hour earlier starting on Wednesday, July 23. GFL will commence collections at 5 a.m. on that day and maintain this schedule for the rest of the week. Containers should be placed out by 5 a.m. to ensure pickup is not missed.

For Tuesday, July 22, the start time will remain at 6 a.m. To avoid missing a collection, containers should be set out by 5 a.m. on the scheduled day. After pickup, residents are advised to move their containers from the curb or alley within 24 hours and place them in their garage or alongside their house or garage. It is requested that containers not be left on the street or sidewalk.
