Village of Bellevue Board of Trustees met June 24.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
After calling the meeting to order, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and the roll was called. The following members were recorded as present: Mullens, Cooper, Wight, Eichhorn, Lannert – 5.
CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approval of Regular Session Minutes – June 10, 2025
B. Approval of Executive Session Minutes – June 10, 2025
C. Approval of Bills
Trustee Eichhorn moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Trustee Wight and approved with the following roll call vote:
Yes: Mullens, Cooper, Wight, Eichhorn, Lannert – 5.
No: None - 0
Absent: Wiseman - 1
Abstain: None - 0
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Staci Raker inquired about a trustee not giving a yes or no to an answer and only responding with a here instead of yes or no.
Lace Lannert inquired about allowing people to have animals at the hall.
Attorney Alster made the comment that public comment is not for the board to address.

VILLAGE MAYOR
A. Bosch Rd. – Mayor Pesch informed the Board members that he is in the beginning stages of discussion with Steve regarding Bosch Rd. They will get estimates from Mohr & Kerr. Mr. Seghetti is assisting with the process.
B. Starr Lane – Mayor Pesch informed the Board members that he talked with Pat Meyer about the property on Starr Ln. that has not been fixed properly. Pat will reach out to Mr. Hamilton. He has met the deadline. However, it has not been done correctly. There was board discussion.

B. Trustee Mullens stated that Board members should respond with a yes or a no when voting.
C. Cooper
D. Wight
1. Weeds – Trustee Wight asked if the weeds could be taken care of when the guys are mowing.
2. Zoning – Trustee Wight inquired about posting something for a zoning officer. When it is raining, the guys should be able to take pictures.
E. Trustee Eichhorn stated Board members should say yes or no when they are voting.
F. Lannert
1. Maintenance Stipend – Trustee Lannert asked if the Board had agreed on a stipend for the guys. Mayor Pesch responded that it had been previously voted on to give a stipend to them. There was board discussion.
2. New Zoning – Trustee Lannert asked Mayor Pesch if he was going to knock on doors regarding zoning. There was board discussion. Attorney Alster explained what legally can be done. The mayor has control and can delegate and appoint someone.

Trustee Wight moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Trustee and approved by a voice vote of all present Trustees.
