Congressman Darin LaHood visited All World Machinery in Roscoe, Illinois, to discuss the effects of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on local manufacturing. During his tour, Rep. LaHood met with company leaders to learn how the legislation would affect their operations.
“The One Big Beautiful Bill Act delivers real, tangible benefits for American manufacturing—especially right here in Illinois’ 16th Congressional District,” said Rep. LaHood. “It was great to tour All World Machinery to hear directly from company leadership about the importance of complete expensing for research and development and the positive impact the extension of the 199A small business tax credit will have on their company. This generational investment in the manufacturing industry is a strong step in the right direction towards revitalization and the protection of high-paying jobs in central and northwest Illinois.”
Rep. LaHood has represented Illinois’ 16th district since 2015, following Aaron Schock’s tenure. In 2022, he won re-election against Elizabeth Haderlein by a significant margin.
