Kewan D. Hudson, 27, has been charged with child pornography following allegations that he uploaded child sex abuse material online. The court granted the State’s Petition to Detain at his detention hearing, which means Hudson will remain in custody until his trial.
The Chillicothe Police Department began investigating after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on July 14, 2025. The tip indicated that a resident of Chillicothe had uploaded child sex abuse material through the social media platform KIK.
Police investigators obtained a search warrant for the IP address linked to the uploads, which was traced to Hudson’s home. Hudson was arrested on August 5 and questioned by police. During questioning, he admitted that the KIK account belonged to him and acknowledged that others would send him videos.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Chillicothe Police Department at 309-274-2129.
