Rolling lane restrictions will be in place on several streets in Peoria from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, for the Richwoods High School Homecoming Parade. The Peoria Police Department and Peoria Fire Department will escort the parade.
According to officials, drivers are encouraged to use caution and patience along the route and consider alternative routes during this time.
The parade will start at Richwoods High School, located at 6301 N. University Street. It will cross W. Northmoor Road onto N. Rosemead Drive, travel south on N. Rosemead Drive, east on W. Devereux Drive, then west on W. Daytona Drive. The procession continues north on N. Keenland Avenue and west on W. Oakglen Drive before heading north again on N. Rosemead Drive from W. Oakglen Drive and traveling east on W. Northmoor Road back to Richwoods High School.
