Several roads near Bradley University will be closed on Saturday, September 27, from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the Hilltop Trot 5K event. The race is organized by Bradley University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
Drivers in the area are advised to use caution and consider alternate routes during the event due to multiple street closures around campus. The affected streets include W. St. James Street, N. Elmwood Avenue, W. Bradley Avenue, N. Rebecca Place, W. Laura Avenue, N. Cooper Street, W. Ayres Avenue, N. Glenwood Avenue, W. Callender Avenue, W. Barker Avenue, W. Fredonia Avenue, N. Institute Place, and N. Duryea Place.
The race will begin at the Alumni Quad on campus and follow a route through several nearby streets before finishing back at the starting point.
"Drivers should exercise caution and patience along the race route," organizers stated in their announcement. "The use of alternative routes is advised."
