Kayla Benshoff, a nursing technician at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, has been recognized as the hospital’s Colleague of the Month for October. She has worked at the nonprofit facility since 2019.
Patients have expressed appreciation for Benshoff's efforts to ensure their safety by properly setting fall alarms and minimizing risks during their care. Her colleagues also noted her flexibility in adjusting her schedule to meet patient needs and her readiness to assist when required.
“Kayla wants what is best for patients,” wrote one nominator. “She comes in with a smile every day and makes the patients feel at home.”
Another nomination highlighted her dedication to building trust with those she cares for: “She is committed to the patient and their well-being by making sure they always have what they need.”
