Candace Bobbitt, who serves as a business manager with pharmacy services at Decatur Memorial Hospital, has been named the hospital’s Colleague of the Month for October. The recognition highlights her extensive responsibilities and the positive impact she has on her team.
Bobbitt’s colleagues praise her for handling multiple tasks effectively. Her duties include managing inventory, responding proactively to medication and IV shortages, monitoring outpatient infusion schedules, and adjusting supplies as needed to meet demand.
“Candy is one of the most important people in our department,” wrote her nominator. “She is a joy to work with and be around, and her quick, dry wit never fails to elicit laughs and smiles from her coworkers.”
Bobbitt has been employed by Decatur Memorial Hospital since 1991.
