Tazewell County Education: Which district had most students enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

Morton Community Unit School District 709 had the highest enrollment among Tazewell County districts, welcoming 3,140 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 89.6% of the Morton Community Unit School District 709’s total enrollment.

Among the 18 districts in Tazewell County, Pekin Public School District 108 ranked second in enrollment numbers with 3,137 students, while Pekin Consolidated School District 303 welcomed 1,814 students and ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.
