Report: Princeville School District spent $11,139 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Princeville Community Unit School District 326 was up 12.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $9,937 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,139 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 768 to 731 students over the same period.

Princeville's spending in 2019-20 was 23.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
