Tremont Village Board met May 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

President Todd Bong called to order this regular meeting of the Tremont Village Board at 7:00 pm, Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Tremont Village Hall.

Present: President Bong, Trustees Scott, Replogle, Zuercher, Harding

Absent: Trustees Scranton, Getz

Village Clerk: J. Madsen

Attorney: R. Wherry

Police Chief: M. Dodwell

Guests: Dan Parr, Eric Hansen

Pledge of Allegiance.

Trustee Zuercher moved to approve the minutes for the regular meeting of the Old Board on May 1, 2017, and Replogle seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Trustee Zuercher moved to approve the minutes for the regular meeting of the New Board on May 1, 2017, and Replogle seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion Carried

Bills:

Trustee Zuercher moved to approve all bills incurred since May1, 2017, and Replogle seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Trustee Replogle moved to donate $300 to sponsor Captain Nate Troyer in the 2017 Cops Ride using D.A.R.E. funds, and Zuercher seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Trustee Harding moved to transfer $17,353.50 from General Fund Savings to Police Operations Checking to cover bills and payroll. Zuercher seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Trustee Zuercher moved to renew two contracts (the annual agreement and one for services to address infrastructure repairs, improvements and evaluations) with CMT, and Replogle seconded.

Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Eric Hansen reported that he had met with President Bong and Trustee Getz to discuss a plan of action to address the ADA “Self-Evaluation” process. Hansen said that the Village should be looking toward some development plan and a Transition plan in addition to, or part of, the “Self-Evaluation.”

Trustee Zuercher moved to approve Resolution 17-102 providing for the temporary closure of Route 9 for the Turkey Festival Parade. Replogle seconded.
