Stark County loses another board member

Meeting 02

Stark County Board Member Robin Lindner has resigned, according to the Edgar County Watchdogs (ECW), who posted the report from the Stark County News.

Lindner, who made her resignation effective on Sept. 1, was the chairman of the police and buildings and grounds committees. She was appointed by former Chairman Coleen Magnussen and approved by the board in May.

The ECW noted that Magnussen and Vice Chair Fulvio Zerla resigned in June after several "contentious" meetings at which the county sheriff ended up shutting things down because of an alleged failure to follow the rules on special meetings, which may be held only when requested by at least one-third of the board members.
