Analysis: Creve Coeur pays $13.49 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Creve Coeur Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 93.1 percent of the $410,875 the Creve Coeur Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $13.49 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Creve Coeur contributed $382,526 to the fund, which saw a $62,451 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $28,348, or 6.9 percent, in 2016. Another $1 came from other unspecified sources.
