Travis Weaver, Illinois State Representative from the 93rd District | Official Website
State Representative Travis Weaver (R-Peoria) and State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) will host a Town Hall meeting in Kewanee on Wednesday, September 17. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Kewanee City Hall, located at 401 E. 3rd Street.
The Town Hall will provide legislative updates from both lawmakers. Attendees can also seek assistance with state-related issues and have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson.
Weaver said, “I look forward to seeing everyone in Kewanee and hearing about issues important to them. These town hall events are a great way to connect with constituents, and the feedback we receive is valuable and helps us do our jobs better.”
Senator Anderson added, “A lot of the legislation we file comes from the constituents we represent, so having these events and conversations allows us to learn about the issues impacting our communities and how we can help in the state legislature.”
Rep. Weaver was elected as a Republican to represent Illinois' 93rd House District in 2023, succeeding Norine Hammond.
