Analysis: Peoria Heights pays $3.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Peoria Heights Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.6 percent of the $334,248 the Peoria Heights Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Peoria Heights contributed $262,677 to the fund, which saw a $20,570 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $71,570, or 21.4 percent, in 2016. Another $1 came from other unspecified sources.
