Report: Peoria Heights spent $11,238 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Peoria Heights Community Unit School District 325 is up 5 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $10,711 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,238 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 840 to 790.

Peoria Heights's spending in 2016-17 was 13 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
