Graduates earn 186 degrees, certificates from Methodist College

About 95.7 percent of the 186 degrees and certificates handed out by the Methodist College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Peoria conferred 169 bachelor's degrees and 7 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 169 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 8 certificates in Gerontology and 7 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide.

The college enrolled 680 students for 2016-17, including 672 in undergraduate programs and 8 in graduate programs.
