Schaeferville Fire responded to 12 calls in 2017 - 45.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Schaeferville Fire included 10 fires - three structure fires, one vehicle fire and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $40,000 in fire loss - or about $4,000 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
