City of Pekin issued the following announcement on July 31.
We have just received notice from Ameren that due to a car accident at 2nd and Henrietta power is down for approximately 1,400 customers. They have crews on the way to restore power. Additionally, N. 2nd St. between Charlotte and State St is closed until further notice. Stop lights are out on Margaret and Ann Eliza. Please use caution when traveling through.
