City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
Northmoor Road between Kensington Drive and Hamilton Road will be closed while Ameren works on a gas line under the roadway beginning Monday, August 20, weather permitting, Traffic will be detoured using Warwick Drive and Hamilton Road. This work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, August 28.

Motorists should exercise caution in or near construction zones.
