The district transferred two students to another program instead of suspending or expelling them.
According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 97 students during the year. That equates to 9.3 percent of the 1,039 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for five incidents with unspecified reasons and one incident with violence that caused physical injury.
Of the 77 in-school suspensions, 62 were given to boys and 15 were given to girls, including 15 elementary or middle schoolers and 62 high schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 76 incidents. There were one incidents of tobacco. For 54 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
