According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 141 students during the year. That equates to 24.2 percent of the 582 students enrolled.
Of the 121 in-school suspensions, 80 were given to boys and 41 were given to girls, including 84 elementary or middle schoolers and 37 high schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 111 incidents. There were four incidents of violence without physical injury. For 72 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes 13 incidents. There were five incidents of unspecified reasons. For 13 incidents, students were suspended for 3-5 days.
