East Peoria Fire Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.

Orders must be pre-paid and placed at EastSide Centre, 1 EastSide Drive, East Peoria
All proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Memorial
To show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the East Peoria Fire Department sells breast cancer awareness T-shirts each fall.
The navy blue shirts are available to the public. The 2018 shirt features a pink East Peoria Fire Department logo on the front and a fire truck, axes and a fire hose shaped into the breast cancer ribbon. The shirt design was created by EPFD Lt. Ronnie Marmitt.
Adult sizes range from small through 5-extra-large. Children’s sizes range from small through extra-large. Long-sleeve T-shirts will also be available and come in adult sizes small through 3-extra-large, and children’s sizes small through extra-large.
The T-shirts cost $15 each. Long-sleeve T-shirts cost $18. Payment should be made by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to City of East Peoria.
The shirts will be available for pickup at EastSide Centre after Oct. 1.
