Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Goodwill of Central Illinois and Christopher and Banks have partnered to offer coupons for donations. When you donate at any Goodwill of Central Illinois or Christopher and Banks location, between 8/30 and 10/3/18, you will receive coupons from Christopher and Banks.
Donors will receive 2 coupons. One is good from 8/30 – 9/9/18 and the other is valid 9/16 through 10/03/18. Coupons are available while supplies last.
“We are very excited about this new partnership,” said Don Johnson, Goodwill president and CEO. “It’s a great way to reward our donors as they support our community.”
Goodwill’s free programs are possible through the sale of your donated items. Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois serves 21 counties within Central Illinois. Goodwill offers employment services, a youth mentoring program, veterans’ support services, operates a veterans’ home, and employs more than 300 people.
