City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.
Beginning Monday, September 24, 2018, Sanger St. from Washington St. extending east to the railroad tracks will be closed for road repairs. There will be no through traffic on Sanger St. at this time. Detours will be clearly marked around the closure area.
This work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, September 28, weather permitting.
