City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Now is your chance to help the floats glide down the street! We are looking for volunteers to drive floats and walk with them along the parade route. Drivers need to be age 18 and older. Walkers, who help guide the float drivers, should be at least age 15 unless they are with a parent.
The Parade of Lights is on Saturday, Nov. 17. To volunteer, send your contact information to folepi@cityofeastpeoria.com.
