State Senate race: Democrat Belt wins voter tally in Centreville Township

Christopher Belt led Republican Tanya Hildenbrand in votes cast in Centreville Township for the District 57 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Belt appeared to outpace Hildenbrand by a margin of 70.2 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Clayborne, Jr., II, won by a margin of 64.2 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Ruocco Katherine, who received 656 votes to Conroy's 3,010.
