State House race: Republican Friess wins voter tally in Prairie Du Long Township

David Friess led Democrat Jerry Costello II in votes cast in Prairie Du Long Township for the District 116 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Friess appeared to outpace Costello by a margin of 3.9 percent on Tuesday in the township.
