City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, City Hall will be closed from 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Nov. 23. There will be no garbage and recycling collection on Thursday. It will resume on Friday and end on Saturday. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
