Q2 real estate sales report: South Pekin

Median prices declined in South Pekin over last year, and are down 37.1 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 2 homes sold in South Pekin for a median price of $32,000. That's 58.1 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in South Pekin.

Median property tax for homeowners in South Pekin was $1,785.16 in 2016 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 3.8 percent of their home's value in taxes.
