City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
Show off your inflatable lighted holiday spirit by entering the Christmas Splendor contest sponsored by the East Peoria Beautification Commission. Entry deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 5. There are categories for holiday inflatables (five or more), use of LOTS of lights (the more the merrier); school, church and business; and neighborhood.
