Report: El Paso-Gridley spent $9,849 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at El Paso-Gridley Community Unified School District 11 is down 8.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Woodford County school district spent $10,714 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,849 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1271 to 1227.

El Paso-Gridley's spending in 2017-18 was 26.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
