Marquette Heights home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Marquette Heights fell by $2,500 while total sales increased by 38.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 2.9% decrease over the $87,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Marquette Heights in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Marquette Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,913, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
