West Peoria home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in West Peoria rose by $1,950 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,950 - a 3.3% increase over the $60,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in West Peoria in February 2016.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for 2017 was $1,748. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,727. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
