West Peoria home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in West Peoria fell by $15,800 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $72,450 - a 17.9% decrease over the $88,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in West Peoria in March 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for 2017 was $1,748. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,727. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
