Chillicothe home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Chillicothe rose by $23,750 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,000 - a 23% increase over the $103,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Chillicothe in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Chillicothe for 2017 was $2,268. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,247. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
