Washington home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Washington rose by $18,125 while total sales decreased by 9.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 10% increase over the $181,875 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Washington in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
