Rome home prices rise in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Rome rose by $109,275 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $202,775 - a 116.9% increase over the $93,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Rome in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Rome for 2017 was $2,192. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,152. This marks an increase of 1.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
