Rome home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Rome rose by $15,100 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,000 - a 20.4% increase over the $73,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Rome in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Rome for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,192, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
