Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Marshall County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Marshall County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Marshall County were men. The younger parolee was a 23-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017. The other was a 39-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Matthew G. Jones. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2017 when he was 37 years old. He is now 39.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Marshall County municipality.
