Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Marshall County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Marshall County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that two men and one woman were released in Marshall County. The median age of the parolees was 41. The youngest parolee was a 39-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2014, and the oldest was a 44-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Isreal J. Ballard. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2014 when he was 34 years old. He is now 39.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Marshall County municipality.
