Eureka home prices fall in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Eureka fell by $47,000 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,000 - a 39.2% decrease over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Eureka in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Eureka for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,234, approximately 4.4% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
