Sidewalk construction is ongoing at the northwest and northeast corners of Fulton Street and S.W. Jefferson Avenue. The sidewalks at these locations are currently closed, and pedestrians are advised to use the next available intersection to cross.
Both southbound and northbound lanes of Fulton Street are closed at S.W. Jefferson Avenue. Access to the Twin Towers Parking Deck and City Hall’s parking lot remains open, but drivers should use S.W. Monroe Street to reach these destinations.
On-street parking restrictions have been posted in the area. Drivers are encouraged to look for available meters that are not covered. Parking is prohibited where meters have “No Parking” signs displayed.
The city notes that further restrictions on parking, traffic lanes, and sidewalks will be announced as work continues on the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project.
Drivers are reminded to remain alert for workers in the construction zone and observe all no-parking areas.
