Washington home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Washington rose by $33,000 while total sales increased by 5.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,750 - a 24.1% increase over the $136,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Washington in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
