Canton City issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
The City of Canton offices will be closed on Monday,November 11 for observation of Veterans Day. Monday's trash route will be picked up on Tuesday, along with Tuesday's regular route. Pick-up times may vary from the usual time, so residents are asked to have their garbage out by 7:00 am so they won't be missed.
