April 1, 2020 is Census Day!
The 2020 Census is crucial to Canton residents. It determines how many representatives a state gets in Congress, and which states and cities get billions of dollars in federal funding for roads, healthcare, low-income programs, and other projects. Our total population is a huge factor in how much funding we receive. Each person not properly accounted for will result in lower funds received for our community.
You will be receiving a postcard in the mail from the US Census Bureau in early April. Please complete the census for every person in your household, and ensure that the city of Canton will receive its fair share of funding for the next ten years.
