San Jose home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in San Jose rose by $58,000 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,500 - a 351.5% increase over the $16,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were four homes sold in San Jose in 2018.

The median sales tax in San Jose for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,019, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for 2019.
