San Jose home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in San Jose rose by $52,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $87,500 - a 150% increase over the $35,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in San Jose in the second half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in San Jose for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,019, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
