Mason City home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Mason City rose by $5,000 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,750 - a 6.3% increase over the $78,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Mason City in the first half of 2018.
