Analysis: Peoria Heights pays $3.57 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Peoria Heights Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.3 percent of the $401,968 the Peoria Heights Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.57 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Peoria Heights contributed $306,861 to the fund, which saw a $39,243 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $85,740, or 21.3 percent, in 2018. Another $9,367 came from other unspecified sources.
